Dinner Time is Family Time with Chicken Soup for the Soul & Zaycon Fresh

Chicken Soup for the Soul and Zaycon Foods provided me with complimentary products. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Dinner time is the main time my family can get together and enjoy each other's company. We talk about our adventures that day and maybe some misadventures as well. I am learning to enjoy cooking because my family enjoys when I do and we can't eat out every night. But I still like when products come along that make cooking a home cooked meal just a little bit easier. Delicious, nutritious food brings people together around the table for healthy meals.

I recently had the opportunity to test out some Chicken Soup for the Soul products as well as some Zaycon Fresh chicken! Included were Chicken Soup for the Soul Meal Builders, Chicken Soup for the Soul Broth, Chicken Soup for the Soul BBQ Sauce, and I got a 40 lb. box of Zaycon Foods boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

I have never made meat loaf before, but in my package included Chicken Soup for the Soul Meal Builder: Meat Loaf, so I thought I'd give it a go. All you had to do was take ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs (I used panko because that's what I had), and the meal builder - mix it all together and bake. How easy is that?! Plus the sustainable packaging is environmentally-friendly Tetra Pak cartons and glass. I didn't use Zaycon ground beef because I didn't have any and I think this would have been more flavorful if we had some leaner meat.

Zaycon Fresh is a great way to save on meat. Premium quality at a price below the competition. With grocery stores prices on the rise, it's hard to save money on staples like produce and meat. But this is one way I have found that everyone can do and it really cuts cost. Currently Zaycon Fresh has a GREAT deal where you can get chicken breasts for only $1.69 per pound! You have to order a 40 lb. box and go pick it up, but they have locations EVERYWHERE plus if you go in with someone you can cut the cost even further. They also have a referral program so you have the chance to earn FREE chicken!

If you haven't yet, you can win a Chicken Soup for the Soul chicken broth and "Chicken Soup for the Soul: From Lemons to Lemonade" paperback by clicking on the image below!

What do you think of Chicken Soup for the Soul's new products? How do you bring everyone together around the dinner table?
