Checklist When Traveling on a Vacation with the Kids

It’s exciting finally getting to enjoy a family vacation after a lockdown. Kids can’t wait to get out of the house and enjoy activities they’ve lately been dreaming of, such as swimming, visiting amusement parks, and outdoor play. You too can’t wait to enjoy the fresh air, sun and relax away from the usual work and family responsibilities.

Checklist When Traveling on a Vacation with the Kids

If you’ve chosen New Jersey to be the destination, you are on the right track. Most towns, including Irvington, have family-friendly hotels, accommodation, and fun spots. Your kids will love the experience, and you, too, will not be left behind.

Under the leadership of the Mayor of Irvington NJ, the town has seen tremendous growth over the years, making it a favorable tourist destination. Besides the many tourist attractions, the locality enjoys ample security with friendly and helpful residents.

When traveling with kids, a foolproof plan will ensure your vacation is worthwhile, enjoyable and everyone feels accommodated. If you have small kids, your checklist should be more thorough because small mistakes or omissions can be costly.

Vacationing During a Pandemic at Myrtle Beach

My family recently had the opportunity to vacation at Myrtle Beach thanks to Vacation Myrtle Beach. Although I had been there before when I was younger, but my family had never been there. My husband had only ever driven through South Carolina for that matter. So I was excited for the opportunity to share a new beach with them.

What we didn't plan for was a pandemic. There is a lot happening in the world right now. Vacationing, whether it is small beach trips or camping in the mountains, is a normal thing for us. While educating my children about the new normal, I want to try to keep some of the old normal within their lives as much as possible.

So today, I thought I would take the time to share our tips for vacationing during a pandemic. Thank you to Vacation Myrtle Beach for the complimentary accommodations at Landmark Resort during this time.

The hubby and I got invited to experience Six Flag Over Georgia's Fright Fest. I was so excited because I haven't been since I was a kid. The recommended age was 12+, so we decided to make a date night of it.

We experienced a behind the scenes experience and witnessed how each ghoulish creature is created by a team of make up artists. 5 Best US Destinations to Travel With Kids

Summertime is almost here and that means vacation season is right around the corner. With so many places to visit and explore, it's hard to know which vacation spots to pick for your family. Here are a few family friendly destination ideas that are perfect for getting out and having an adventure with your kids.

Exploring Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon"

This past week was Winter Break for our local schools so we decided to take a trip camping. I have mentioned how much we love camping before because it get us a nice little getaway without breaking the bank and all of our Family's Camping Essentials. Since we are Friends of the Parks and just found out about it, we decided to join this club where basically what that means is if we hike four of Georgia's canyons then we get a t-shirt. We actually have already hiked three of them last year with full intentions of returning.

Since it is cooler this time of year, we decided to head down south to explore Providence Canyon which is also referred to as Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon". Hiking did get a little hot since we couldn't feel the breeze and it was unseasonally hot when we went, but it was so worth it.

Experience the Thrill of the Holidays at Six Flags Over Georgia's Holiday In The Park

I love experiencing everything the holidays have to offer. Six Flags Over Georgia has open it's doors for an extended season for the third year in a row to bring you more of your favorite attractions with a Christmas spin. My family recently had the opportunity to check out Six Flag's Holiday in the Park at a Media and Blogger Event. We received complimentary parking and entry, food vouchers, line hopper vouchers, and other swag as well.
The event was set to start at 4 pm (Holiday in the Park hours varies but 4-10 is the average norm), but my husband had to work until 4. We made it to Six Flags around 5:15 so we didn't miss the tree lighting that started at 6pm.
