Tips to Throw the Perfect Egg Hunt

Thank you Finders Keepers™ for sponsoring this post. Finders Keepers™ are milk chocolate candy eggs that come with a surprise toy in every box. You can try to collect them all!

My family hosts a family Easter egg hunt every year. Everyone in the family is invited on mine and my husband's sides. It is an awesome celebration that brings our entire family together. I started this tradition the year my son was born. I had been wanting to make sure this was an annual tradition that combined our family and my son was only a few weeks old on his first Easter so everyone decided to come to my house so we didn't have to travel far.

The fun thing about this year is that we will have even more kids. And since all of the children are in different age groups, I have some tips to share to throw the perfect egg hunt gathering.

Awesome Easter Basket Ideas Under $5

Make sure to get those last minute Easter Basket stuffers in! I have a great list of stuffers that you can buy on Amazon if you have Prime to get them in time or you can find them in store at Walmart, Target, Kroger, and other retailers all for less than $5!

We have a huge egg hunt ever year with my husband's and I combined families. It is so much fun. We go to church that morning and then have a wonderful cook out. Sometimes we have more traditional food, but we always have a huge egg hunt that the kids enjoy.

Here are some great Easter Basket Stuffer Ideas for Under $5:

Unicorn Easter Basket Ideas

My daughter is obsessed with unicorns and so are my nieces. So I wanted to incorporate that into a cute Easter basket idea. They also love JoJo Siwa and since she loves all things unicorn, I thought the two could go hand in hand if you are looking for some basket filler ideas! So if you're child is like mine and a little unicorn obsessed, then you'll love this Unicorn Easter Basket Tutorial and stuffer ideas.

I originally saw the idea of creating an Easter Basket Tutu from my friend Jamie who blogs at The Denver Housewife. She has done so many cute ones including a Shopkins Easter Basket. And I am all about reusing items found around the house to create new projects. I think it is more economical to do it that way, but you could very easily buy many of the items featured in Target's Dollar Spot or on Amazon like she did. I will try and link to some similar items. My mother-in-law gave me the tulle I used and I had the unicorn topper from some old party supplies. That's why I decided to recreate this look for a Unicorn theme.

I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links.

I love decorating my house this time of year. I love adding to my décor collection each year with new items. My mother-in-law helped many years ago to get my Christmas décor started. She even gave me a few Precious Moments ornaments to hang on my tree that are some of my favorites. Precious Moments makes quality decorations that will be cherished for years to come.

I decided to add the Angelic Lighted Lantern to my Holiday Décor Collection. Rotating in a graceful circle to the tune "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing", these angels add faithful elegance to holiday and everyday home décor.

Experience the Thrill of the Holidays at Six Flags Over Georgia's Holiday In The Park

I love experiencing everything the holidays have to offer. Six Flags Over Georgia has open it's doors for an extended season for the third year in a row to bring you more of your favorite attractions with a Christmas spin. My family recently had the opportunity to check out Six Flag's Holiday in the Park at a Media and Blogger Event. We received complimentary parking and entry, food vouchers, line hopper vouchers, and other swag as well.
The event was set to start at 4 pm (Holiday in the Park hours varies but 4-10 is the average norm), but my husband had to work until 4. We made it to Six Flags around 5:15 so we didn't miss the tree lighting that started at 6pm.

My kids love these Annie's Homegrown snack packs. I pack them in my daughter's lunch box as well as take them on the road with us. And they come in a perfect bunny shape too! They come in larger boxes if you want to pack them in baggies, but I like these ones that are already individually wrapped. They also make fruit gummies as well. And if you're wondering, no this post isn't sponsored, we just love Annie's Homegrown Snacks! I just love that they are a socially conscious business who specializes in organic ingredients and focusing on sustainability.

Something For Everyone with 3DLIGHTFX

My son is adjusting to his new bedroom and I have decided to get him some kind of light to go in his room because it is very dark right now. He also has almost zero décor in his room. It's because we really didn't have a decorated nursery for him like we did for our daughter. I am terrible and never got around to it. BUT we have decided to a chic Star Wars theme for his new room.

3DLIGHTFX Review

I have known about 3DLIGHTFX 3D Deco Lights for a while now and since we have just now decided on a theme for his room, what better time to get him one of these! 3DLIGHTFX 3D Deco Lights are the perfect gift this holiday season. They have a full range of comic book, super hero, Disney Princess, sports and car lights that look as though they are popping right out of the wall. We chose the Darth Vader light because our son loves him.
