With baby number two on the way we have been looking at so many different products because we had a very limited income when we had SweetPea and mostly used hand-me-downs. We have a First Years baby monitor now, that we plan on using for the new baby because it is still in great condition.
SweetPea has become extremely independent and since we moved her over to her "new room", all she wants to do is play in there by herself. And so we have decided to use the Talk & Soothe Digital Monitor in there, for at least the time being until #2 arrives. This way I can see what she is up to and let her know if she needs to stop whatever she is doing. LOL
Set up was very easy once it was charged. I didn't even need the Hubby's help! It comes with a rechargeable battery which is awesome.
The monitor has so many options. You can even play music for your little one to be soothed back to sleep. I can talk to my daughter. I have been monitoring her, but I don't know how she feels about it. I think she liked the freedom to do what she wanted in her room. And it isn't that she was getting into anything that she shouldn't have been, but when her friend that I watch comes over, sometimes they can play too rough. So it has been nice to monitor that.
My favorite feature is how the cord wraps up in the video monitor part so they aren't loose and it can hang on the wall with ease.

I love that the batteries are chargeable and you can mount it on the wall. I feel like we use sooo many batteries, and now that my little one is getting bigger and playing on his own in his room, this would be really handy to have!

ReplyDeleteWhen my babies were little we didn't have the camera ones. I think I would have enjoyed falling asleep watching the baby from my bed.
