Although this picture needs no words, I would just like to say, I hope this is true. And my dad does play with Sweet Pea. He passed away when I was five months pregnant with her. I miss him so. I hope he is proud of me.
Very cute and I'm sure your father is very proud ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I wish I could just see him one more time. I miss him everyday. It's been a grieving process that has been hard but bearable. Every day it gets a little easier.
DeleteAwww I'm sure he's happy. You'll have to share memories of your dad with her!
ReplyDeleteI have plans of showing her pictures and such. I do now but I feel she is too young to understand.
DeleteAw, I'm so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful photo. I'm sure he's watching over her =)

DeleteAww, sorry for your loss. This is a very sweet picture, and I'm sure it is true!
ReplyDeleteGee, this is so special. I am so sorry that your father died before you had your baby. Somehow I believe that our departed loved ones are with us in spirit. Take care and all the very best to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteIn my heart, I know you are right. Thank you for your kind words.
DeleteAw, it's a very nice tribute.
ReplyDeleteThank you. :)
DeleteAs you say, it needs no words.
ReplyDeleteThe LIM says it does happen.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
I am sorry for your loss. What a great photo of your Dad and little one. I believe our departed loved-ones do watch over us.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words.
DeleteI love this. I do believe he's there with her. I was 14 when my dad passed away and I do believe he was with me through everything from then on. I felt him in so many ways. My husband passed away 6 months ago and I've been telling my kids that their dad is still with them and will be there with them through everything from now on. It may not be the way we want, but they will feel him all around them when they least expect it.
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to you and your family.
DeleteThat is a lovely composition, it reminded me of my father in law he passed away after I gave birth to my first born and he never got to meet her. I also hope he plays or watches over her.

DeleteWow I believe this is true. My grandfather passed away while I was pregnant with my daughter, and after she was born I had a magical incident that had to be a sign that he had been there...

ReplyDeleteI', sure you dad is very proud of you and Sweetpea too.
ReplyDeleteI am certain that those who have passed on visit the younger ones. When my six year old daughter was a baby, around 10 months old she had a 'friend' she would play and talk with called Diddy Da Da.
Herding Cats
I hope you are right. Thank you so much.
DeleteThis brings a tear to my eye. You are truly blessed to have had a wonderful daddy. I'm sure he is VERY proud of you! Your little Sweet Pea is a lucky lady because she will know her grandpa through her mama's sweetness. :-)
