Introducing Baby to Water with #SwimWays #IC

I participated in a Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for SwimWays. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

It is starting to get warmer and warmer here in Georgia. Our days will once again include long lake stays and trips to the pool. One of my family's favorite summer activity is to lounge by and play in the pool. I can't wait until it is warm enough to relax poolside everyday. Having a body of water is a MUST to have a great summer party, in my opinion. I remember SweetPea's first time in the pool. I was so excited and nervous at the same time. I knew a smooth transition into the water could create a life-long love of swimming. Little ones need baby-steps when going from land roamer to pool dweller. That's why it's important to have the right tools to help ease the transition.

When we first introduced our babies to water, we always carried them in first. This way they could stay nice and warm up against us. With SweetPea, we started introducing her to water when she was five months old and with Peanut, he was about four. We started slow with each one, took their cues on when they wanted to get out, and didn't rush anything. It can be hard because you know they are going to have fun, but remember that it is a process.

"Thanks a Latte" Super Easy Teacher Gift

This post is part of a sponsored campaign with MyPrintly and MomSelect. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My daughter is ending her first year of school. She is in 3K and only goes three days a week. I love her school. I love how far she has come. Her teachers are truly amazing and since I totally flopped on a Christmas gift, I wanted to do something extra special to say thanks for a great year. So since my daughter's teachers have mentioned a time or two about their LOVE of Starbucks, I decided to give them a gift card, but that isn't enough. I wanted to make sure it was extra special.

Thanks to MyPrintly, creating DIY projects is super easy. You can share your favorite memories with friends and family through photo collages and cards that you can print at home or order with ease. No more excuses on why you don't have printed photos for the grandparents. My mother-in-law is always wanting pictures of her five beautiful grandbabies. She even has what she calls a "nana-book" full of pictures perfect for showing them off to everyone she meets. With MyPrintly you can make photo books, mugs, calendars, magnets, and so much more. Great for a last minute gift idea as well.

Uses of Coconut Oil for Baby

I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.

I was recently introduced to coconut oil by my sister-in-law as a treatment for diaper rash and then I started doing a little research and found that there are SO MANY uses of coconut oil for natural remedies. I recently had the opportunity to review some and so I decided to share the many uses I have found.
