The weather has been horrible in Georgia. I mean it's nice to not have to deal with the usual summer drought, but with a toddler we have been having to stay in doors...a lot. So to spice up our usual routines, I decided to have a tea party thanks to Mommy Parties and Cadbury. I planned a big event than what in actuality happened...because of the rain. Not everyone came and we couldn't play some of the games plus I had more decorations, but the show must go on!

The first treat the girl had were Cucumber with Cream Cheese. They had never had the treat before, but they loved it!



The next thing we did was play a little game where we read each other's tea leaves. This one was more for the adults. All you do is heat water and pour intoa cup. Sprinkle in some tea leaves. After the tea has steeped, the leaves will begin to rest at the bottom of the cup. Drink and enjoy your tea. Then when you are finished, dump the remaining liquid onto the saucer or a napkin. Then, flip the cup up right to read the symbols left by the tea leaves. You may see something that represents a circle, number, letter, animal, or other things. You have to be creative and make up your own meaning to the symbols left by your tea leaves, but it is really fun to think of crazy things.



And of course you can't have a Cadbury High Tea Party without Cadbury Ice Cream Bars! We received four different varieties of ice cream bars to try: Cadbury® Royal Dark™ which is creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury Royal Dark chocolaty coating, Cadbury® English Toffee which is creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat toffee ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating with toffee pieces (and beyond my favorite), Cadbury® Caramello™ which is creamy Blue Bunny Reduced fat vanilla ice cream swirled with caramel sauce all dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating, and Cadbury® Vanilla Chocolate which is creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating.




The girls were huge fans! We had a blast at our Cadbury High Tea Party.

With summer here grilling season is in full force, but have you ever thought of grilling pizza? Pillsbury has made it super easy to do just that! How about grilling this super yummy Philly Cheese Steak Pizza?

What You Need:
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 large sweet onion, sliced (1 cup)
1 can (13.8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated artisan pizza crust with whole grain*
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/3 lb deli-style roast beef, roughly chopped
2 cups shredded provolone cheese (8 oz)
3/4 cup sliced green bell pepper

Tips on How to Grill Pizza

What To Do:
1. Warm up the grill. Get the grill nice and hot and give it a good coat of canola oil. Then unroll the dough onto a large piece of heavy-duty foil that's greased well with cooking spray.
2. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Stir in onion to coat with oil. Cook uncovered 10 minutes, stirring every 3 to 4 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook 20 minutes longer, stirring well every 5 minutes; until onions are golden brown (onions will shrink during cooking). Set aside.
3. Put the dough on the rack. When you're ready to grill, invert the dough onto the grill rack and peel off the foil.
4. Spread pizza sauce over crust. Top with roast beef, onion, cheese and bell pepper.
5. Take it off the grill. Remove the pizza from the grill with a large spatula or pizza peel and add some sauce and cheese. It goes back onto the BBQ. Turn down BBQ and cover for a few minutes until the cheese is melted. Try to put the pizza on the side of the grill that isn’t too hot. You may need to move it around a little if you notice it burning.

Did I ever mention how much I love shopping? I love shopping because I LOVE looking for great deals. Plain and simple. The more I can save off retail, the more I love to shop.

This past weekend was Tanger Outlets Back to School Taste & Style Experience. While not as epic as their previous Taste & Style Event, I managed to save a TON of money getting Sweet Pea some clothes for our upcoming yearly family vacation as well as next summer.

So here is what I got. My mother-in-law watched Sweet Pea for me, so I got to shop in peace. LOL I did meet my dear friend and shopping buddy, Shirlee, at Claire's where we headed over to Carter's. The deals there were meh. I wasn't very impressed although I did want to buy everything because of the explosion of cuteness. But I digress...




We then headed over to the food trucks because it was 11:30 and I didn't eat breakfast. I decided to grab a $4 soft chicken taco from Gezzo's Grille. And it was delicious! There weren't as many Food Trucks as there were in March, but they still had a great selection and of course my favorite!

And then back to shopping!



I love Gymboree. Did you know that their clothes are pre-washed to reduce shrinking? I found some super cute shirts and shorts for $5 a piece! I stocked up for next summer for Sweet Pea.
Osh Kosh B'Gosh was were the GREAT deals were. Shirlee had to leave before I went to this store. I always check out clearance and although Osh Kosh doesn't let you use coupons on certain items like clearance, but they were having an additional 30% off clearance sale PLUS spend $20 and get a FREE $20 Shutterfly gift card! How great is that?!



Hubby absolutely needed some white under shirts, so I went to a Hanes Brands store and browsed. Okay so I'm going to confess something here. I never buy Hubby white under shirts. His mom is the only one who does. They were prices $15.99 each and if you bought three, you got one free. I had to look up online to see if this was a good deal. I had NO idea! I got to use my 20% off coupon that I printed at home and what was left on my gift card, so I only came $9 out of pocket for the whole shopping trip!
