Nanny to Mommy

Peanut turned 15 months old this month. And he had his check-up this week. We found out he is still borderline anemic, so we are working on that. He has started walking everywhere. He can say thank you, wave bye-bye, bark like a dog, and he climbs on everything. My new favorite thing he does is cheese for the camera.  

If you follow us on Instagram (and you should), then you know my Hubby was on vacation last week and we had the opportunity to go Strawberry Picking at Southern Belle Farm right before the end of season. We almost went too late, but still got some good ones and some great pics! Enjoy! :D

My Peanut turns ONE on Friday. ONE! Where did the past year go?! This time last year, I was nesting but didn't know it yet. I kept thinking, "Oh I still have two more weeks." So that's why when he came home the nursery wasn't ready, in fact the crib wasn't even up. That's my suggestion to anyone who is miserable pregnant, PROCRASTINATE and your water will break two weeks early. :)     For this Wordless Wednesday, we are celebrating a year of Peanut. :)

Sorry I was away from Wordless Wednesday last week. But I really shouldn't have because we had some great pictures taken that previous weekend. Peanut was 9 days old when my friend from DawnBlackPhotography.com took his pictures and our first pictures as a family of four!

A few weeks ago, I shared some pictures from our Enj Photography photoshoot that we won.
Yesterday, I went and picked up my pictures. If you aren't following Enj Photography on Facebook or Instgram, you really should be. They do amazing work, and I am so excited that I had the opportunity to work with them.

PLUS, I thought these pictures were perfect to share since Independence Day is tomorrow because they are red, white, & blue themed! :D

SweetPea's first JetSki ride, random VW bus boat thing, and playing with friends. My father fought in Vietnam and his cancer was believed to be cause by Agent Orange. Gone but Not Forgotten.
