Unique Physical Changes of Pregnancy

This post is sponsored by P&G and CVS. All opinions are my own.

People will tell you that your body will change after pregnancy and you won't believe them. You may say, I'm going to work out and et everything back to the way it was before (or better)! Yeah I said that too. And while you can get your pre-baby body back in some ways, there are some things that are just going to be different after you have a baby. Here are some things that changed for me, your experience (will hopefully) be different. Just be aware that this is also a TMI post (what is up with that this week), but there is a giveaway at the end of this one too. :)

Pink Eye, a Pharmacy Visit, & a $50 Target e-Gift Card Giveaway

Content and/or other value provided by our partner, Target. All opinions are my own.

SweetPea has come down with a case of what we think is Pink Eye. YUCK! She says it doesn't hurt and it wasn't very crusty when she woke up, but it was really red. We went swimming at my in-laws on Saturday for a family reunion and they put some kind of bleaching agent into the pool a week earlier to remove some staining. But no one else had irritated eyes or even mentioned anything about it. We are taking her to the doctor and if they give us eye drops (which they more than likely will), I think I'm going to check out my local Target Pharmacy.

Pink eye? You tell me. Either way, she seems pretty happy about it.

I mentioned back in April how I was on the fence about switching over my prescriptions to Target. BUT WHY? Did you know about Target Pharmacy Rewards? Like if you fill five prescriptions you can get 5% off a day of shopping. You can earn rewards faster by filling pet prescriptions or getting vaccinations such as the flu shot. And add all family members to one account!

Febreze's #Noseblind Movie Night + Giveaway

This review and giveaway was brought to you by Double Duty Divas and Febreze. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign. All opinions, as always, are 100% my own.

With an almost five month old who just started solids, a three year old, and a dog - my house has a MANY of smells. Which my nose is mostly likely adjusted to because I am around them so often. But what about when people come to visit? Am I suppose to subject them to just-started-solids poopy diaper stench? I use a diaper pail still, it's a must have in my opinion, and it helps contain a lot, but Febreze products have always been my go-to to eliminate odors when guests come over. Or even times when they don't. ;)

Febreze #Noseblind Kit PLUS Giveaway

I would hate for guests to come over and cut their stay short because of the smell. I know I have done it. Nothing worse than wet dog, which I KNOW I have escaped from more than  few times. I do not want my guests to feel they have to hold their noses in my home, I want them to feel welcomed and to enjoy their time here.

A Letter to My 1st Time Mom Pregnant Self

I received a similar prize pack from P&G in order to share this giveaway. All opinions are my own.

Dear First Time Mom Pregnant Self,

You think you know everything because you were a Nanny for five years and worked at a day care before that. But 24/7/365 with no pay check is a COMPLETELY different story. First of all, don't sweat the small stuff. If your daughter wants to sleep with every stuffed thing in the entire house, count your blessings that at least she's willing to sleep. Nurse every two hours until your milk comes in. Pumping sucks literally, but it can help too. Don't worry about bed sharing some nights. Or even most nights. It won't last forever and one day you'll miss it. Pacifiers are your friend. Get the dog trained BEFORE the baby is born. Make time for your husband, make sure to find ways to include him, and make him be included whether he wants to or not - that means making him change diapers. He will thank you later. Breastfeeding is hard. There will be ups and downs during that entire first year, but you can do it. Take a bath with the baby because at least you'll kind of get one too. Do at least a load of laundry a day, but don't sweat it if you miss a day because babies don't keep. Make sure the car seat's chest clip is at arm pit level. Don't let others pressure you to do something that your mommy instincts are against. Stock up on diapers before hand, not when you run out and have to use a shirt. Wipe warmers are pointless and waste wipes. Pampers Swaddlers are awesome because they have the color-changing wetness indicator that makes it easy for you (and Hubby) to tell when it's time to change a diaper, they are one of the few that won't break your little one out (this was my experience, yours may differ), they are Pampers' softest diaper, the #1 choice among hospitals, and Pampers has their wonderful Gifts to Grow program.

Yes, my boy uses a pink tummy time mat. :)

I loved putting Sweet Pea in Pampers Swaddlers and although she was a little baby, I was sad when she grew out of them. And Peanut is 14.4 lbs at 3 1/2 months old and will now get to experience Pampers Swaddlers longer because they are now available up to size 5 at Babies “R” Us! Pampers Swaddlers give your baby comfort and protection they’ll love for even longer. With up to 12 hours of overnight protection, Swaddlers help you make your baby as comfortable as possible. PLUS, you can save some money by buying  Swaddlers Super Economy Pack and Economy Plus Pack which are now available.

Enter to #win a $150 Babies-R-Us Gift Card & a 64 ct. of Pampers wipes! Ends 7/8
