I don't know about you when, but I have family coming over, I want my house to look like it was never lived in. But seriously, it the time of year for all the germs as well and I don't want them shared if it can be helped. Today, I want to share some of the most common forgotten to clean places. The common missed cleaning areas, whether they are missed spots while house cleaning or not, can be quickly cleaned and sanitized with Force of Nature.

I recently received a Force of Nature starter kit which comes with everything needed to make the powerful multi-purpose cleaner that cuts through grease, grime, soap scum, and sticky messes with squeaky clean, sparkling results.  I noticed since quarantine that my children were watching screens too much. Television, iPads, Nintendo Switch, all of it. My son also really needed to learn some responsibility for a couple of things that happened, but the most recent.... he broke his iPad screen. So, we set up a chore system.

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own. #NeatoRoboticsPartner

Keeping the house clean when everyone is home all day long is something I have battled with for so long. But when my youngest was a toddler and we moved into our new house, I started a couple of systems that help me manage the daily mess. Systems, schedules, and organization has been a game changer. I always thought my brain thrived on the "organized chaos" as I called it, but really once I set everything up, it is so much easier to keep up than I thought and has made everything look nicer as well. Now that the kids are home for the summer, getting them involved in the cleaning process and making it fun is essential.

Spring Cleanng Tps & Trcks

Why a Weekly Cleaning Checklist Works

Whether you’re managing a busy household or trying to get the kids involved in age-appropriate chores, having a visual guide helps everyone stay on track. A weekly cleaning checklist lets you:

- Break down tasks by day to avoid burnout

- Stay consistent with upkeep (especially in high-traffic areas)

- Encourage kids to participate in daily routines

- Prevent messes from building up

- Enjoy a cleaner, calmer home environment

If you’re someone who already does seasonal deep cleaning, like in the spring or before the holidays, a weekly checklist can help maintain that clean feeling throughout the year.

It is also a job that requires you to think on your feet and go with the flow, regardless of what “has to get done” that day. And it can be a job that is mentally draining. Here are some of my tips on how to make stay at home mom life more productive.

Too Many Chores? {Not So Wordless Wednesday + LINKY}

So if you follow me on SnapChat, then you saw a picture that I sent out asking, "Does this sound like too many chores for a 6 year old?" I didn't really expect any response, but I wanted to put it out there on a platform where I can actually get responses if you care to chime in.

Chore Chart

So I decided Wednesday of last week that I wanted my daughter to start helping with more chores. She is 6 now and needs to learn responsibility. She also needs to learn how to do household chores so she knows how to take care of herself one day. If you're interested, I printed the Chore Chart found HERE.

I have seen that meme shared MULTIPLE times (including by close family) that says "Hey Millennial Parents, if your kids knows how to work an iPad then they know how to work a washing machine!" I felt this statement had a lot of truth to it, but

Our New Bedroom: Decluttering, Organizing, and More

I received complimentary products from Cariloha mentioned in this post. All opinions are my own.

Since so many of you have been asking for pictures about our new room since our massive purge and my sneak peak pictures on Instagram, I thought I would share with all of you. We organized a ton and still have a ways to go. We did the most work on our room. It was the room we were ignoring the most, so it was time. We also bought a new bedroom suit from Rooms-To-Go since we have never bought one for ourselves and our mattress was over 20 years old...YUCK! This was our Christmas, Birthdays, and Anniversary present to our selves. LOL

We also got some new bed sheets from Cariloha. I received the Classic Bamboo Bed Sheets Set in Ivory to review. Cariloha specializes in making products out of bamboo fabric such as clothing, sheets, towels, etc.

I love the Shark brand and was excited to receive the opportunity to try their new Shark Rocket Powerhead. My daughter loves our new vacuum. Besides the fact that she says, "It's pretty", she actually wants to vacuum with our new Shark Rocket Powerhead.
