I noticed since quarantine that my children were watching screens too much. Television, iPads, Nintendo Switch, all of it. My son also really needed to learn some responsibility for a couple of things that happened, but the most recent.... he broke his iPad screen. So, we set up a chore system.

So if you follow me on SnapChat, then you saw a picture that I sent out asking, "Does this sound like too many chores for a 6 year old?" I didn't really expect any response, but I wanted to put it out there on a platform where I can actually get responses if you care to chime in.
So I decided Wednesday of last week that I wanted my daughter to start helping with more chores. She is 6 now and needs to learn responsibility. If you have noticed that I have been a little MIA lately on the blog, it is because we finally sold our old house and moved into a new construction home! I am so excited! Everything is new and gorgeous, so I want to keep it that way. Since so many of you have been asking for pictures about our new room since our massive purge and my sneak peak pictures on Instagram, I thought I would share with all of you. We organized a ton and still have a ways to go. We did the most work on our room. It was the room we were ignoring the most, so it was time. We also bought a new bedroom suit from Rooms-To-Go since we have never bought one for ourselves and our mattress was over 20 years old...YUCK! This was our Christmas, Birthdays, and Anniversary present to our selves. LOL
